Nidd Hall Hotel, Harrogate won the Silver Gilt Rose Award

I’m really excited to share our success this year. Yorkshire in Bloom is a voluntary regional organisation that administers the Britain in Bloom Campaign in North, South, East and West Yorkshire, North and North-East Lincolnshire. Britain in Bloom is the largest horticultural campaign in Europe and each year it grows in size and importance and involves more people, groups and organisations creating lasting improvements to local environments.

Norton Grange- Our day out Fishing

“So it’s Friday morning, I hear the radio go “Charlie to Tom, can you pop down to reception please”.

I arrive down reception to meet Charlie a couple minutes later and I’m introduced to guest named Steve. He seemed very enthusiastic about catching a fish and was eager to go fishing. After telling them about this shark I caught once we decided that Tuesday afternoon was the most suitable time for us all.

Bird of Prey.. pray they behave!

I’m Sam and I work in the Warner Marketing Team. I’ve made it my aim to visit all Warner’s Hotel and Villages by the end of the year. Last weekend I went to Thoresby Hall Hotel, our beautiful Grade I listed house. I really enjoyed wandering around The Courtyard which has wonderful shops, a military museum and a glass-blower. I didn’t realise how close The Courtyard was to Thoresby, it’s a short enjoyable walk which is great for guests to explore.

Alvaston’s bats settle into new home
